Michael was attending school at Waynesburg University and Floretta was looking for a winter job during Thanksgiving and Christmas break and the weekends when she came home from Duquesne. In November of 2014, Floretta entered Hot Rod's House of BAR-B-QUE for an interview and Michael was immediately attracted. The owners weren't sure if they were going to hire Floretta because of her limited availability, but they ended up doing so, which started the love story of Floretta and Michael.

Michael and Floretta slowly started to spend time together outside of work. They both liked each other a lot, so it was just a matter of time until they took their friendship to the next level.

On August 15, 2015, after knowing each other for about 8 months, Michael and Floretta officially started dating!

Throughout the years, Michael and Floretta have gone on quite a few adventures together. From Wisconsin to Florida, Las Vegas to the Bahamas. They enjoy going places together and spending time with each other.

On the morning of July 19, 2020, Michael and Floretta were in Erie, PA celebrating Michael's 27th birthday. Michael woke Floretta up early and they went to the North Pier Light House to see the sunrise. It was there that Michael got on one knee and asked Floretta to marry him!

After a lot of discussion as to where the reception would be held, Michael and Floretta decided on Oglebay. It wasn't just a random place to them, it meant something, so it was perfect!

9 years have led up to this day, August 24, 2024. We are so excited to share the start of our future with you and are so glad to have you here. Thank you all for the love and support. <3
